- How Long:
- 25-30 minutes
Join our animal keepers for an informal 25-30 minute live animal presentation! Relax in our air-conditioned theater while meeting some of the Sonoran Desert’s amazing animals. Discover the adaptations, behaviors, and ecology of animals, as well as the environments they live in, with the furry, feathered, and scaly residents of the Desert Museum. Learn fun facts to impress your friends and get to know our animals’ stories. Don’t forget to bring your curiosity — our keepers will answer your questions after each animal gets their time in the spotlight. Shows will vary and may include mammals, birds, reptiles, and more.
These live animal presentations are offered by the staff of the HIIZ (Herpetology, Icthyology, and Invertebrate Zoology) and IAC (Interpretive Animal Collection) departments.
